In the heart of Lower Saxony lies Europe’s unique and largest Safari Park
The park is recognised as a zoological garden and offers a home for over 1,500 wild animals in as near a natural habitat as possible.
One park, three safaris - the Serengeti safari, Jungle safari and Adventure safari: for adventurers big and small, the chance to meet giraffes, bison, rhinos, zebras, antelopes, lions and many more - almost like being in the wild, throughout the 10 kilometer journey in your own car, or the Serengeti bus.
Over 200 monkeys of 20 different species live in the JUNGLE SAFARI, which guests can experience at close range. In the ADVENTURE SAFARI, young and old will find excitement, fun and adventure with over 40 rides and shows. Very special highlights are the super-agile, fast Black Mamba Jetboats, the unique jungle safari tour and the adventurous quad safari.
The spacious indoor safari invites little explorers to jump, climb and run around. Breathtaking shows like "Kumeka - The Awakening of the Jungle" round off the excitement.
With the lively prairie dogs, the Jacob & Border Leicester sheep and the cute silkie hens, the park welcomed four new and special animal species in 2021. All of them can be seen in their enclosures around Lake Victoria, during the walk through the Jungle safari.
In addition to the Safari Blitz, the largest mobile indoor roller coaster in the world and the rhinoceros-strong Batukai Racer family rollercoaster, there is also the Safari Blitz Kids - a real spinning roller-coaster for even the youngest (from 4 years)!
It’s a fact that adventures in the Serengeti Park do not end at sunset. Guests can also spend the night in a fully equipped double-decker bus as if in the middle of Africa. For the new lodges, some of the Serengeti Park buses, which have now almost become a trademark, have been converted into mobile camping vehicles, in which up to 8 people can spend the night in the company of zebras, watussi and a few of their animal friends.
Vacation like in Africa
Over the years, our popular lodge holidays - now with 900 bed capacity - have been steadily expanded in different styles. From family-friendly safari lodges to African mud houses, comfortably furnished tents to the absolute outdoor feeling in the pick-up truck with camping cabin - every adventurer is guaranteed to find the right place to sleep.
