Museum for Cultural History
For over a hundred years, the Bomann Museum, one of the most beautiful cultural history museums in Lower Saxony, has been been home to this large and nationally significant collection on the folklore of eastern Lower Saxony, together with the story of Celle and the history of the Kingdom of Hanover. Arranged in a contemporary style over seven exhibition areas, the cultural history of the region is bought to life in a memorable and entertaining way.
In addition, each year the museum shows a number of extra, special cultural and historical exhibitions. The museum’s educational department offers visitors of all ages a wide-ranging programme of events, from children’s birthday parties to artists' workshops.
